Footer removal

So, I've been trying to alter the color of the smugmug footer because I find it garish, and nothing I've done has worked (I've just tried CSS that I found from searching dgrin). Now, I just want the damn thing gone. Considering I bought a pro account it's pretty upsetting that "no footer" or "remove footer" isn't an option. Is there anything I can do?

You can minimize the footer, but as you noted there isn't an option to remove it. See # 16 on this page - http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93381.

If you post a link to your site we can help you change the color of the remaining pieces of the footer.

I also can't get my header to display above my nav bar, if that's an easy fix.
