Seems that Harry is off shooting birds or something :rolleyes so I'll start the new challenge thread that Harry will be hosting...

Hi Everyone, dgrin challenge 52 is here. It will run from Monday, November 14th at 12:00:01 a.m. nyc time, through monday, November 28th at Noon NYC time. The guest judge for the challenge will be the winner of challenge 51, as determined by the voters.

Remember, in order for everyone to benefit, you should be commenting and critiquing for others as much as you expect to get for yourself. You've got to give to get!

The challenge 52 theme is "For The Birds" -- yep -- flying birds, eating birds, birds eating, anything bird related is good for this challenge!

This thread, is the one into which you post your challenge entry, and remember, one entry per person, and the photo must be fresh, taken during the challenge period. You must post the date the photograph was taken or it will be deemed ineligible. Any entries without a date included, either typed in or by linked exif, will be deleted without notice.

All of the rules of the dgrin photo challenges apply, please read them!.

***Challenge 52 will close to entries on Monday, November 28th, 2005 at 12 Noon NYC time***

Enjoy (challenge) photography,

    tufted titmouse

one of my last photos that turned out to be one of my favorites.... not as difficult to catch as the nuthatch but i strongly feel this image is technically superior in terms of color and detail compared to my nuthatch. I also like this "tit's " attitude!

Apparently my date wasn't sufficient for exif info!

Looks like someone beat me to a pic of this little bird. I love how agile they are-- they can eat upside-down! Taken 19 Nov 2005-- 70-200 USM Canon lens, 4.0f-- full zoom-- since they're so skittish! And quite a personality.

    Regards--
