all I can say is I hope the younger pays attention to what the elder says, not enough of that these days.

"I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond words... When I was young, we were taught to be discreet and respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly wise [disrespectful] and impatient of restraint" (Hesiod, 8th century BC).

    Also:

Nice shot of a grandparents requirement, "you must listen or they'll never learn" (Rags, 21 century AD)...

Looks like the younger is presenting her project celebrating her grandmother. Well taken and capture of a moment.

I'm glad you took it in the spirit it was intended! thumb.gif.

Thanks for commenting all, and love the Egyptian epithet.

Minor correction, Great-Grandmother. This is my grandmother on her 100th birthday talking to my niece, who is showing her the poster she made for the party.

    Cheers,

Does that make you really old? rolleyes1.gif I was wondering about "great", but better to err on the side of guessing younger...

Nice shot for the family album, too!
