Interesting D3. Is there a creative reason you left so much room at the top?

I'd love to see this in B&W.

Love the symbolism between beliefs and the chained books.

I love the image and the poignancy. I think the extra space adds to it.

'Course, before you post too many like it, ya might wanna have a talk with Salmon Rusdie. :)

@ Hackbone, thanks indeed I was trying to bring a message in the picture.
@ Bryce.... Freedom of speech and image is my motto, see I am working on a series about religions and how people use it for other reasons, soon you will see a picture about Pedo in the Catholic Chuch and more....

Excellence image, well thought out and executed. Be aware, some groups have no tolerance for differing opinions.

Thanks Sam, and I am aware of that . However artistic freedom is a value that I consider to be a fundamental right. I am not trying to target any specific group as the pictures (this happens to be the first one) will cover all religions. But the point is taken.

I think I prefer the black and white version. Simply a fantastic work of art excellent on all levels. I don't know anything about Belgium, but here in the US many still value freedom of speech.

I just read about a middle eastern comedian who as part of his routine made fun of Al Qaeda. Surprise, surprise, he was shot dead.

Look forward to seeing you finish your project and to view the results.
