It would be great if there was a way for people to "subscribe" to your website/domain and get daily updates as to what you have been doing (you would have the ability to control the detail level, i.e. change per album, creation of new album, etc).

The problem is, I have hundreds of albums (to be exact, I create one every day), and I have an entire family of people whom then I need to "send/share" the album manually. When you have 20 albums to share, it becomes tedious. I'm sure someone can easily add this in.

You have Recent Galleries & Photos feeds your family can subscribe to.
Feeds are available in your footer. http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93263

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this per gallery? What I was saying was they should be able to subscribe to my main domain and that's it. Then they know what changed each day (new galleries, etc). I did go to that help page, but it seems like I need to get a feed link for each gallery. In that case I might as well just use send e-mail option and let them know. As long as someone is doing the clicking to let others know, I think it defeats the purpose.

There is also a recent photos / recent galleries feed. For a complete listing, follow the "See examples of feeds here" on the help page and look at the user feeds.

When I try this with a password protected site (I am still working on mine) it shows all pictures from all the way back when I first started the site. Like first 100 pictures from 2 yrs ago.. But I use the feed link while I am logged in, I see the latest pictures properly.
Is there anyway to specify like pictures that are uploaded in last 3 months or 6 months, etc?
My smugmug still under construction & organization with 17,000 images and counting... meanwhile check my Flickr

This may be depending on the gallery settings you're using in your recent galleries. If you have a password on them, set them to unlisted and / or have external links, hello smuggers turned off, visitors may not be able to see those photos in the recent photos. If you have further questions, I suggest that you contact our HelpDesk with a link to the gallery in question you're seeing this for (and a link to this thread or more details in the email) so we could take a closer look.
