We don't see much (visible) fungus here in So Cal, it just isn't wet enough - < 10 inchs of rain per year - so I was stoked when these tiny caps popped up on the bark of an ailing avocado tree. I know it is hard to judge scale here, (I did not think to measure them, and now they are gone) but they were very small. I could not even see the fuzz until I processed the pics - a pleasant surprise 'cause I had never seen such before. All I really know about mushrooms is how much I like them sliced, on salads and pizza. :wink
