Andy's Moving On from SmugMug

I've had a long run with SmugMug, since December of 2003 when I started Dgrin at Baldy's request Then, officially signing on with SmugMug in September of 2005 and then becoming Chief Operating Officer. When I started at SmugMug, I was the 10th person at the company - and now there are over 110! With me in New York and the company in California, and with so many amazing people that now work at SmugMug, the time has come for me to move on - and that's what I'm doing.
So, what does the future bring for me? I'm not exactly sure, I'm pursuing some different opportunities. I expect to be instructing, teaching, writing, and doing workshops and more. Of course I will continue to be here, helping to make Dgrin as great a forum as possible, and try to help out anyone that needs my assistance.
Thank you all for being here, and for being part of what I love most - the photography community.

I know the future will be very bright with whatever you pursue. You're both a scholar and a gentleman (to coin a slightly older phrase) and in the new modern dictionary your image should be shown under the heading of "diplomacy."
Thanks for all your help over the last few years!
So after the marriage shouldn't that free you up to "head west young man" eh?

Andy,
Thank you for all the support that you have given me over the years (some of which you didn't even know you were giving). Best wishes for you and your business.
Who knows, maybe someday we will meet up. I'm in Northern NJ.
I'll still look for you on the forums.
All the best.

Hi Andy,
I'm so sorry you're leaving Smugmug as for me you've been the 'face' since I came here in 2006.
I wish you all the best for the future and hope to follow what you do, though i don't expect we'll see you this side of the pond:)
I can't imaging Smugmug without you somehow but life moves on and I hope it is a good move for you.
