Just got back from a Mt. Hood - Portland - Mt Rainier - Seattle trip. I took a few of the Portland skyline overlooking the Willamette.

Wasn't quite sure of the crops. I could have pano cropped them all, but didn't want them to all look the same so I left a lot of the sky in the 2 shots during blue hour even though there is not much going on in the sky. Would love to know if they work, or if they should be cropped differently.

    Very beautiful shots...... thumb.gif
The blue-hour sky is great on it's own, but I agree with your instinct and think a little-bit off the top of 2 & 3 couldn't hurt. Also, to me, they look a little bit over-sat - but just a nit-pic amount.

I like 'em overall. #3 is my favorite with the boats in the foreground and that deep blue sky is especially pleasing. #1 doesn't really work for me; that bright red grass in the foreground is overpowering the shot. Overall, very nice! thumb.gif

    Thanks for the feedback.

I am also torn with the first one. There were street lights behind me lighting up the grass. But I probably overcooked the processing a bit too, which didnt help. eek7.gif
