I'm selling my 20 month old Nikon D70 to upgrade to the D200.

Items include:
Camera
18-70mm Nikon "kit" lens
extra battery
charger
1GB CF card
Lowepro bag (don't know the model..just the one where it will hold the camera and lens)
remote

Camera was just serviced and cleaned by Nikon last month. Looks great! I can take photos of it if you want. It's a great camera!

Of course I would love to get $800 for this.

If I'm too high, please don't jump down my neck. This is the first day I have considered this.

I don't really agree with this - it's nice to know "about" how many shots are taken, but these cameras are good for 50K, 100K shutter actuations.

Saying, "I've taken approx. 8,500 shots and I'm the original owner" is good enough for me.

FYI, shutter replacements are very easy (at least for Canon gear, can't say for sure about Nikon but I suspect so...) and also relatively inexpensive.

Well, I have taken approximately 25,000 photos since I purchased it new. I'm the original owner and I don't smoke.

The count starts over after 9999 it seems. I'm guessing on the shutter count as I really don't know. I do believe it has "clicked over" 10000 twice, but I wasn't really paying attention.

I know that buying a DSLR camera is similar to buying a used car.
We all know that a car is good for 100,000 miles BUT would you wanna just up and buy a car without knowing actual miles on it?

It WAS a selling point when I bought my 10D and it's been a selling point to many others I have talked to.

I didn't mean anything wrong by any of this. rolleyes1.gif
