Heads up: Your billing info is out-of-date

I renewed my subscription a month back or so and now my credit card it out of date.

How do I switch off the reminder on my homepage? I know that only I see it, but how do I switch this off until I chose to update the details? I will only update it when it is needed.

I am really sorry but at the moment there is no possibility of turning of that reminder. But as soon as you update your billing information – the message will disappear.

I don't want to update it, for security reasons, until I need to. I think that it is a huge oversight and inconvenience to have to permanently put up with it.

Your billing details are safe with us and you don't really have to worry about that - check the 'safe and secure' section for details. If you decide to not update the details just now, keep in mind that certain sales related Pro features (like order branding and coupons) are not available unless you have a current credit card on file.
I'm sorry to say that there is no way to dismiss the message other than updating the details.

You really shouldn't try to force people to keep updated cc information on file unless they have a monthly subscription.
