Had some storms closing in today & this one was heading my way but it just fizzled out & gave a sunset.

I think that was the xmas we got 4cm of hazelnut sized hail....Probably the closest I'll ever get to a white Christmasrolleyes1.gif. We havent had one in a week or so, and now its all cool and windy. Well there was that little tornado 2 weeks ago...

Hope you get some lightning soonthumb.gif

The folks over at DxO labs wouldn't like this....but....I think the lens distortion, that makes the radial effect, works for this shot.

    Very pleasing....thumb.gif .

    Ta Ric

Its typical of the 10-22...if you can get the clouds right then all is not too bad. You can sometimes get what i call the 'Startrek' effect when the Enterprise takes off into the stars.

It can make all the buildings lean in together though. I took andys advice & shoot a lot with it on 11mm now & it has sharpened it right up.

Beautiful composition and color. The clouds really draw the attention of the viewer. Nicely done!
