Life Magazine picture (I think)

Howdy!
I'm hoping you can help me here...
I remember a powerful photograph that I believe I saw in a Life Magazine from the late 80's or early 90's (in the "Big Picture" section, if I remember correctly). The photo was of a little blonde girl sitting on the witness stand in a courtroom, pointing. The caption indicates that she's identifying the person who killed her parents while she hid.
I remember being powerfully affected by the shot, but I can't seem to track it down. I've gone so far as to order the 5 Life Magazine issues I thought it was in, but I must not be remembering the issues correctly.
Does anyone have any idea which issue this photo is in? Or can someone correct my memory--it's possible it was never in a Life Magazine at all...
Thanks for any help you can offer!
