Hello, I am new to smugmug and I had watermarked my first two galleries before I realized that you had the option for right click protection and I would much rather use that option than have a watermark obscuring my photos, Since then I have tried everything I can think of to disable the watermark by even deleting the watermark to no avail, Its been several days and I still have the watermarks, Is it possible to remove a watermark once it has been applied? :scratch
Would appreiciate some help, Thank you :D

Tools > Many Photos > More > Watermarking

Check "remove" "Select all" and click "Watermark" button.

It could take awhile for them to remove.

The watermarking option in the gallery settings is for applying them as the photos are uploaded to the gallery. To remove the watermark go to Tools>Many Photos>Watermarking

Select all photos, and the remove option. Then click watermark. That will remove the watermarks.

    Hi Megan,
To remove a watermark from existing photos you can use the Tools button > many photos > more > watermarking tool. Just select all photos in it and choose the 'remove' option. Once you click 'watermark', it may take a while for the watermarks to be removed.

That of course only works if the watermarks were applied within SmugMug (and not prior to uploading).

if you still have an issue, post a link to the gallery or if you don't want that, contact the HelpDesk with details.

That worked! Thank you very much! I had been going to the settings page for the gallery and selecting No where it asked about watermark but it never removed them, But this worked Thank you! :D

Smugmug Heroes! Forgive me if I've missed this, as I haven't done watermarks in a while, but would it make sense to include something next to the Watermarking section of gallery settings about how to remove existing watermarks?

I know it's in the wiki / help section, but maybe a link to that page next to the option for watermarking?

I know this question has been asked twice in the last week alone and I remember my own struggles the first time I messed with watermarks. Might be helpful and save newbies and forgetful people alike from some hair-pulling!
