to mark the passing of a truly great photographer, and someone whomi so greatly admire, mr henri cartier-bresson, i broke out a roll of old, outdated and clumpy-grained tri-x pan film, loaded it into my sony f828, and came up with these. all shot with my sony f828, converted to b&w (*) and then i applied my tri-x technique (*).

there's more in my "ny at asa 1600 gallery" right here

(*)here's a week's worth of reading on b&w conversion and techniques

(**)here's my tri-x tutorial

Andy, my favorite is the Wall St. subway; how did you manage to get the flag on the train like that?

I'm saving the B&W tutorials for much later, got plenty to absorb right now.
