Well, I for one think she's beautiful, and the shot is awesome...nice and bright with perfect texture of her hair and skin. Nice work! :):

    Thanks again..

    This is my first view...

I like it, and I agree she is beautiful, but I would like it more if her glasses were a bit higher on her nose so I could see her eyes, and if there was less or no reflection on the glasses. For portraits, the eyes are everything IMHO.

Thank you very much. I'll keep that in mind next time. Its amazing how much detail we miss in that moment. I agree with the glasses but kept the shot because her expression was so cute. If you look close you can even see me in the reflection on the left side of the picture.

That was truely a candid shot taken walking across the yard... Didn't really have prep time. Thanks for the advise...

I figured it was you in the reflection, and actually you can see it in both eyes

IMHO I think you over sharpened.Around the rim of the glasses and the bottom of her eyes really sticks out.

Thanks, not really sure what you might be seeing. I don't believe I did any sharpening on that image and 99% of the time only do a single unsharp mask of about 75% or so. You usually can just barely tell it was run at all. But its been a few months since I took it and processed it so I might be mistaken...

Thanks for the comments and I'll try to pay more attention to that next time...

Beautiful woman....and great photo. I'm a fan of "big face" shots...and this is so wonderfully sharp...and good b&w treatment.

Okay, I'll say it too, beautiful model... now the critique....

I really find your reflection in the glasses distracting. A polarizing filter might have been able to remove this. I agree that portraits are all about the eyes, and between the glasses and the reflection, there isn't much in the way of eyes.

Now that is a good idea for my next shots outside. I didn't think about the polarizer but that would probably have taken care of it... Thanks for the insight...

First I don't like the reflection in the glasses.
Second I don't like how you can see all of one ear and just part of the other.
Nice photo, keep up the good work.

Thanks for posting. I agree, however, it was just one of those last minute shots where I was trying to catch her by surprise and I missed that darn ear... :-) I agree with your observations though... I'll do better next time...
