    Morning MK,
Thank you. I was trying to get as many planets as possible using just Da Bigma and either the 5D2 or a crop camera. Do you remember the shots of Saturn and Jupiter that I took a few years back ? Those were taken with the 40D, Da Bigma and a 1.4x tc. Thanks again thumb.gif Talk to you soon.
    Have a good day :D

You do have these neatly arranged and put together. Pretty cool. The planets and moon were all with the BigMa by itself at 500mm? Was thinking Mars looked a tad on the biggish side. The moon is a tough target for exposure when its full super bright and PP is not as easy as one might think either. I have had fits trying to get it right let alone good and sharp to start with. Looks like the lens is doing a great job for you. Is yours a Sigma or Canon issue. I had no idea Sigma has a 50-500mm. A friend decided against keeping his Canon bigma as it always would creep away from its last setting.

    Good Afternoon Michael,
Thanks for the comments thumb.gif Actually, I had my Kenko pro 1.4x tc on Da Bigma (Sigma) for the mars and venus shots. The moon and planet shots are all trial and error. Usually around F10 and somewhere between 1/100 and 1/2 sec. I've had that lens 3 different times, and the first two times I sold it, I had sellers remorse. It's a keeper from now on. Thanks again.
    Enjoy your afternoon :D
