Those both look great. I'd go with #2 for the challenge since it's got more going on.

Both nice macros with effective DOF. I'm a fan of #1 though because of the composition and artful simplicity of the subject. It's not easy to achieve clarity on either, especially the bee and technically it looks great, but I guess maybe for my personal taste, the strong color of the flower competes with the bee and the overall effect is not as visually pleasing for me as the more "zen" quality of #1. I like #2. I find it more interesting while still being simple enough that it's not cluttered. I love the composition and the clarity of the details.

I love #2. Getting all three flowers and the bee in focus draws your eye across the image and makes for a more dynamic and interesting shot, in my opinion. Both are well composed shots with good lighting.

Thank you for all the comments!! Seems pretty split between the two. I was leaning towards #1 myself.
I did some finishing touches to it and I think I am really leaning towards it now.

What do you think of this one?

    Thanks again!!

Another vote for #1 (especially with the finishing touches). The drama of the black background and the reflection in the dew drop really draw me in. Wow.
