Shot with the 7D and EFS 10-22mm. This hawk was completely wild and unharmed. He was extremely timid.

    You must have been within a couple of feet of him. That is NOT normal behavior.

    that is a baby and this is the first RTH nest I have seen on the ground headscratch.gif I wonder who moved it and how long the baby lived after that ne_nau.gif

    Beautiful image and a sad story. I would have contacted our local wildlife hospital, don't know if you had that option available to you.
