Yesterday was the annual 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise in metro Detroit. I was there as a campaign photog for one of our Congressional candidates but had the opportunity to get a lot of street shots of the classics that spent the day cruising up and down the many miles of avenue.

I need to go one of these years.
Like the photo of the black 1956 Chevy. If I remember correctly that was the year that the gas tank was accessed via the left rear light tail light.
Did some research and "the 1956 model year is when the driver's side taillight was hinged to allow access to the fuel filler. Many 56 GM owners loved to play games with the young gas station attendants while enticing them to "find the hidden gas cap".
Nice shots.
