Very cool shot, Tony. The blaring white t-shirt distracts me, though.

Yeah, the blown-out tee shirt's an obvious problem. That was taken after
dropping of the grandchildren at Pop Warner football practice at the high
school. Late afternoon, the drummers were facing west. No chance to
control anything. Too bad he wasn't shirtless like his fellow drummer.

Still a great image. No doubt.

No. It adds nothing and takes away the three points of red.

With the blow-out, this is not all that great an image. It
squeaks by because there's a WTF there with the blindfold.
If the viewer doesn't see the blindfold immediately, the
    image doesn't grab the viewer.

    At least, that's my take.

Of course, I could do a black and white with selective color.

    That's a joke, son. Just a joke.

I'm intrigued by the drum on the far left. It appears to be OOF. Was it that far out of the plane of focus? Was it vibrating?

I really like the lines and shapes in this and of course the blind - folded drummer makes the image. Well seen !

I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the blindfold kid has a pole bisecting his head. I guess being able to reframe is limited when shooting from a car. eek7.gifrolleyes1.gif

Dunno, as Michswiss has noticed, I shot this from my car. I was in
a line of traffic exiting the school, and could barely stop long enough.

I was using my in-car always-have-it compact camera. The zoom is
so damned jerky, that's difficult for me to frame a quick photo.

Thank you. I don't think I'll ever be a really good photographer,
or really good at processing images, but the thing that I try
hardest to improve in is seeing what will make an interesting
photo. If I see the photograph, chances are something
    good will come of it.
