Thanks for the link. thumb.gif It's remarkable that he can get such smooth gradients using ball point pens.

There's a gallery in Madrid that specializes in photo-realist painting, often large cityscapes. I had to laugh when I noticed that one work even had a few blown highlights. In the meantime, many photographers aspire to "painterly" images. Strange world.

    Good Morning Richard,
You're welcome thumb.gif It's unbelievable what he can do with just pens. Those drawings are so detailed.
I wonder if he 'shoots' weddings with his pens rolleyes1.gif
    Have a good day :D

    Hyperrealism
My oldest son, Ross, the artist/engineer/musician, told me that this form or art is called Hyperrealism. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperrealism_%28visual_arts%29

    Samples on this website http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/21-mindblowing-hyperreal

Apparently been around 10 years or little more.

Ross "This example is really impressive though because the artist used ball-point pens...pretty amazing!"
