ApertureToSmugmug for Aperture 3.3.2

I've been having trouble with uploading from Aperture to Smugmug for a while now.
I used to use the SmugmugtoAperture uploaded plugin, but it stopped working a couple of years ago, that was why i had been dragging and dropping the images straight onto the Uploader, till I noticed that it was not uploading the original size files, so and the only way to get the original size images into Smugmug is to first export them to my hard drive, then upload them to Smugmug.
If i drop images directly from Aperture (3,3,2) onto the Smugmug Uploader, it only uploads a smaller file (e.g. a 25mb file will upload to about 4mb), except for last night when I dropped 3 different versions of the same image on to the Smugmug Uploader. All three were around 24mb. 2 uploaded to the original size of 24mb and the third was only 4.6mb once uploaded. Why is this?
Today it's back to where dropping the orginal size image on the Uploader will result in an uploaded file of about quarter the size.
As I recently upgraded to 3.3.2 I thought I'd try the AperturetoSmugmug uploader again. So went to Smugmug>Digital Grin, downloaded what i understand is the latest version, but it still doesn't work.
In Export menu it lists it as AperturetoSmugmug (32 bit), which I presume is incorrect as I get a message that says: 'The plug-in “ApertureToSmugMug” is not compatible with this version of Aperture.'
When I unzip the downloaded file, it doesn't ask me where to put the plugin, whether i need to uninstall previous, restart Mac etc; it just says Installation is successful.
Should I have uninstalled the previous version, and if so how? Maybe I'm downloading the wrong version and it's not the latest.
I'm obviously doing something wrong, probably something quite obvious and simple, so hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction, either to get the plugin working or how to get my full size images from Aperture to Smugmug, without having to export them to my hard drive first.

When you are downloading any plug-in, you need to make sure it's in an accessible folder. For example, I use AperturetoSmugMug, and the Lightroom uploader as well - both of those files sit in a plug-in folder on my computer. You might want to try completely removing the plug-in from your computer, and download it again from HERE
Also, I am seeing the same problem as you are with the smaller sizes. I tried uploading a ~2.0 MB file, and it came through at ~.34 MB. I cannot see EXACTLY why this is happening, but from what I am seeing, it looks like it is because the original file (yes, obviously ) is not being added to the uploader, but a preview image is being added. To export the original, you would either need the plug-in, or do as you are doing and export to hard drive, then upload.
Can you also let me know if you have changed any settings or preferences in Aperture that might be causing this? Again, I didn't see any reason why it would upload smaller, I am just going off of what it seemed to me. I'm sure we can nail this one.
Also, to uninstall just drop the zip archive file, and the plugin file into the trash and remove the contents. Once that is done shut down Aperture, download the new plug-in and see if that helps.

Just downloaded it, followed installation instructions, but still get a message that says: "The plugin AperturetoSmugmug is not compatible with this version of Aperture. Grrr, so frustration.
