Hi guys..

Is there a possibility to deactivate some images for sale in a gallery where the other images are free for sale ?

I hope you understand my question.

Example:

In my HDR Gallery there are every image for sale but now I just try to upload it to this gallery but without to sell just this only or maybe two images.. (maybe the image was taken in a place where I have not the permission to sell it - private garden )

Just for a better understanding. I just received some days ago from the Chinese Garden in Vancouver the message that I have to remove the images of my website because the commercial rights are just for the owners of the garden. I just "hide" now this images in my gallery but I think it should be allowed to just present my image on my website. What is actually the possiblity ?! Thanks guys for your help on this.

    Hi Pshots,

    Thanks for contacting SmugMug.
You could create an empty pricelist (without any products) and apply to those images that you do not want to have for sale.

You can read more on how to create pricelists and assign them to photos on our help page here:
    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93345-how-do-i-price-photos-in-order-to-sell-them-

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any more questions.

    Take care,

    Tom

Hi Tom and all of you !

I`ve just managed my issue now ! But is it maybe possible that Smugmug can take a note of this issue and maybe can implement the feature to just activate the image for sale or not like we can hide the image from the gallery .. it will be maybe much easier for us and our customers for sure as well ;-)
The other solution will be nice for sure as well to can choose a seperate watermark just for this images which aren`t for sale.

I`ve just create a Pricelist without a product and no prices.. - the customers now can click the buy button but they cant collect a print size for this image . Its I think a good solution but ... you know we are always on the way to build a perfect and customer friendly website mwink.gif

    What do you think ?
