I took some photos for a friend. I am not charging her for these I only want her to pay the printing cost. I reduced my profit to 0% on the price list. I just want to make sure I did that right and won't be charged anything on my end when she places an order. Did I do it right?

As long as you created a pricelist with a 0% price increase, and no rounding, that will allow your visitors to purchase prints at-cost in whichever galleries you apply that pricelist to. Smugmug only takes a commission on the profit generated from a print sale, so if there is no profit, we don't take any commission. In other words, offering at-cost prints doesn't cost you anything :-)
