This was outside the RNC in Tampa Fl on Monday 8-27 when the city was closed due to Hurricane Isaac. The only people to venture out was myself :wink, a few hundred other photographers from around the globe, the anarchists and a few thousand police. We were all dogging the rain and the anarchists were dogging the cops. LOL Had a great time. Think I'll go back for another round sometime this week.

There were so many photographers that I found myself tripping over them, literally.

I'm not bad at situational awareness . They look worse than they are. The images sensationalize the event really. On this day there was a march, but the only people to see it were photogs and news people. Nobody lining the street to listen. I only spotted 2 that I thought would go off and were prepared to. IE: mouth piece and thick full body clothing.

Wow... Man, what an outstanding catch. Framing so fortunate with subject so powerfully in it. Something to be seen by everybody kinda shot for me. The kinda image that becomes an historical shot.

Cool ya got your careful on This looks a heads up kinda crowd.
