Video playback issues

The video quality is eventually awesome, but I find myself nearly 100% of the time having to chose mid-def or ipod/dvd instead of the default hi-def, just because hi-def does not load quick enough and skips too much.
Even in ipod size though, I still experience interruptions as the video playback starts too early without giving the buffer enough time to load.

So I'm wondering if it's feedback you often get from other folks or if you have metrics to quantify the rebufferings for example or how often people downsize a video.

Thanks,

McGil

PS : this is not a bandwidth issue for me, got 20+ Mbps

I run across this a lot on older systems or ones that are lacking cpu horsepower. I rarely see any issues like this on newer devices (or apple devices). 25Mb bandwidth here. ne_nau.gif

    McGil,

Sorry for your trouble with the video.
Usually the reason why the HD content does not load smoothly is connection issues. This could be not just the bandwith - it could be your firewall/antivirus software, Adobe Flash plugin etc.

I would suggest that you contact our help desk:

    Standing by.
