Nice shot, Randy. I wouldn't care to live in this type environment but I find such areas to be strangely compelling.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Wonderful! Looks like the overcast sky helped the tone...no dark shadows, etc.

I like this Randy, it has a nice feeling to it. Makes me long for the desert.....
A suggestion: maybe desaturate the yellows, bring up the red a little? Just a thought.

    I couldn't agree more Tom!

Although the more time I spend in the SW desert, the more I've come to appreciate its beauty.

    Thanks Trey!
This shot was at sundown. As is usual for me, I arrived in this are with only about an hour before sundown. That's fine if you know where to shoot for that perfect sunset image. I sometimes get lucky and spot a decent view to shoot.

A fantastic shot Randy, and I love the colour with no shadows. Am I right in saying it is like this all year round?
    Cheers

Thanks for that Randy. The reason for asking is because everytime I see a photo from Utah they are all similar.
