I haven't posted in a while so I'm trying to work myself back to DGrin. Been busy with work, photo reading, and some shooting. I thought I'd share this image I got on Halibut Point, Rockport, MA.

This area was an old quarry but it's right at the tip of Cape Ann. It can get a lot of wave action even with only moderate wind.

I had seen an Ansel Adams exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and got inspired to work these shots into black and white. Here is an example I kind of like. C&C always appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

Tom - Great photograph. I think the black and white works really well here, especially with the wave action. Your eye is drawn straight to it.
I see you're using a K5 now. How is that working out?

    Thanks, joe-bob.

I love the K-5. Great low noise response compared to my old K-10. Also some very convenient features for bracketed exposures and the enhanced dynamic range is nice too.
