Hi Y'all,

On Monday I got to shoot with a fine photographer and a heck of a nice guy Louie Champan from Newcastle, Washington.

Here's Louie stalking a limpkin

here's the stalked limpkin

we shot some of the usual suspects

Then I spied this fella on a tree half way across the wetlands. We drove over there and I managed to get a few shots in but poor Louie was a few seconds late and got shut out. bncry.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Louie, you should ask for your money back. When I used to take Harry shooting in Manhattan, I'd always be sure to get him filled with Starbucks in the morning and Ribs in the afternoon :eat

Yeah, with no camera to shoot the things, I have expected to see eagles camping in my front and backyards. Nope!

    Nice shots, Harry, nice shots!

You know, my dog gets that "Eagle" look in his eyes when he is practicing "herding" other dogs.

No problema . Sorry to hear about your modem. That sucks!! It's sad and pathetic how dependant I've become on my 'puter. I'm lost if the powers out for very long. umph.gif Glad you're back up and running/posting.

    hey Skippy,

Yes, there are gators in those waters
    17022292-L.jpg

The limpkin's favorite food is those snails. You can alwats tell that a limpkin is around when you see a pile of snail shells by the edge of the water.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Yea, I kind of had a panic attack when I looked at the modem and all of the lights were out. I had nothing to do. I almost cracked and came close to turning on the TV.

Thanks Steve. I was very ahppy to get the shots that I did. I wasn't expecting the eagle to take off the moment I get the lens trained on him.
