This morning the farmers were irrigating their fields and it usually attracts a lot of birds.

    Terrific shot, Gary--the bird on the right looks like he is trying to get the attention of a bunch of kids who just won't listen. :D

    Hi Lauren ..... THANKS for the nice comment:D..... Probably explaining to them that dove season is coming in and they need to be careful who they are flying with....:D

    Nice one Gary. Lovely colors in your shot. Had to look up the black and white bird. Black-necked-Stilt
    I think it is called. Don't know much about bird types headscratch.gif The migratory Curlews I have come to know some about. Cool birds. Look at the colors on them. I have never seen our Curlews up this way carry these colors. Its as if they take on the hues of their surroundings. Seem to recall your sharing a Curlew in flight awhile back.

    Hi Michael .... Thanks for dropping in......and the nice comment....... Dove season is in and the only thing I saw this morning while walking was a neighbor. The shotguns going off in the desert had everything looking for cover:D
