Nikon D4 vs. D700 - Sports and Portraits
I am a current D700 guy. I shoot basketball and football and I also shoot Senior Portraits, 1 prom so far, family portraits and an occasional corporate event.
I am thinking of upgrading to the D4 for the following reasons.
- Video would be nice to have as an option. The only video camera I currently have is a GoPro for some sports shooting but I really haven't used the GoPro for anything else.
- The 16.2 MP would be nice.
- Less noise at higher ISO. There are some sporting events that I cannot use my strobes and it would be nice to shoot higher ISOs.
Thoughts on if the D4 is much of an improvement in the areas other than video?
Is there a link that would do this review? Google hasn't been my friend on this search.
Thanks,
MD

Now when you're talking sports and dimly lit events, D4 will be much better in terms of more accurate AF tracking, much better ISO/lowlight performance, metering, etc.
