Took these today for Superdry (A clothing brand).

Thoughts? They only requested 3 shots so what ones do you think i should send?

    Hi Jordan,

I admire anyone willing to take on a project like this. Frankly, though, I don't think you're ready for such a challenge. There are quite a few considerations that keep these shots from being acceptable for their intentions.

You have blown-out areas all over the place....which is very distracting.

There's a whole lot to know when using flash . You really need to do some study in that area...it can be tricky.

There's way too much clutter in these shots....too much that diverts the eye from a central point of interest.

These shots are pretty much lacking in a real important sense....poor composition.

Forgive me if these remarks seem too harsh. The truth is, though, if you want to pursue commercial work like this, you've got a lot of work to do. It is a worthy goal and I sincerely hope you succeed.

Nothing interesting to see in any of these pictures, IMHO.
No composition, harsh lighting (understandable inside a dimly lit clothing store with spot lights), and bad use of bokeh in #3.

You should obviously showcase their products in your shots but you should lead your viewers to it, instead of something so "snapshot-esque" as all four pictures display.

Sorry to be so blunt, but I don't think these can be used to properly display their clothing lineup.
