Well I just got a new toy at work today. The Canon i9900 Photo printer. Right now I have some old stock of HP Glossy photo paper. I know there is better paper than this out there. What kind of paper should I get? What your recommendations? What do you use?
Oh Yeah BTW the best $500.00 of someone elses money I have ever spent. I love this thing the quality of the photo even on the hp paper is amazing (but I know there is better paper).

Its been my impression that best results are always with the mfgs inks and papers. So I would first try Canon photo paper, since its a Canon printer.

Kodak of course makes some nice papers as does H-P.

It is also true that not all makers make the same kinds of paper, and if they do, it may not be readily available in your area. I prefer Epson Paper for my Epson 1280 but I cannot buy it locally in sizes 11*17 or larger, I often use Kodak paper because I can find it.
I hope this helps.
One thing I did want to recommend...I used to buy paper at various places. Once I ventured into Costco and found a 100 sheet pack of Epson Photo Paper for only $20. At nearby retailers, they were asking for $15 for only 20 sheets. You may want to check nearby "wholesale" clubs like Sam's Club, Costco, BJ's, etc to see if you can find a deal.
