No whining rolleyes1.gif I'd easily blow up a few hours, and have a multitude of times, for the chance to get
a decent return. And with lightning there's the "if I return". Always worries me. A lightning camera
trigger would help solve your daylight capture problems. Knowing that I have yet to invest in one.
I just dial up the exposure times for as slow as I can get and also use neutral density filters. Works ok
now and again. More misses than hits but I have hit good a time or two. Like you have here.

The farm seems so small for an implied close. As if a just down the road as shown should appear bigger and we have way small and decidedly so.
The size of the bolt in reference to the farm really speaks to just how large that lightning strike is.
Another cool thing you got in your composition is that slight rainbow leading right to the farmhouse.
I think I'd look into trying to enhance the rainbow some. All in all a nice result. Thanks for sharing it thumb.gif

Jeeze I wish we had these in the SF Bay area; it can be going on, but the fog disguises it.

    Nice one
