Another unexpected wildlife encouter while I was out hoping to catch a suburban sunset this evening.

1) Mama was very curious when she spotted me with the camera.

2) This is her little one; bright as all get-out and nowhere near as calm as mom.

3) Eventually they disappeared into a small patch of thicket and trees and as I walked along outside of it, mama and I spotted each other yet again.

    Backgrounds are tough in some areas.
    But they are beautiful animals...

    Thanks, Gale. That mama was pretty interesting in her curiosity and I suspect is somewhat "tame" living in that particular suburban setting. In the other suburban hideaway they frequent here (that I frequent, too, when time permits) they quickly move out of sight.

    Though the third shot was the most grainy, her eyes make that my favorite of these.
