Sorry people, I owe you an explanation.

After three days of Diana loving her frames, I got a somewhat frantic call from her last night. Apparently she had pushed the shoot a bit farther into glamor than she realized and was concerned about her day job (I don't know what she does).

In any event, I have a policy that I never force a model to show an image she thinks doesn't look good. I've removed images I thought were terrific when the model said her nose looked funny.

In this case she was so upset that I decided to just remove the entire gallery from Bilsen Galleries. (too bad really because she did a really nice job). Before anyone says it, I KNOW that she signed a release and I know I didn't have to take this action BUT I never want a young woman to be uncomfortable with our work together. This is a hobby for me and simply not worth causing stress or certainly any real life problems to any of my models.

So that's the story. All it cost me was a couple of hours. If I was a pro I might feel very differently, but I'm not.

In case anyone feels strongly about my policy, I've been called a moron on another site so that's been taken care of already.

In any case, I'll be back in 10 days or so with my Caribbean model shoot next week (and it will include Cyndi clap.gif ) so get the torches and pitchforks ready.rolleyes1.gif

    Thanks guys.

You wouldn't believe some of the contrary reactions I've gotten but, as you all know too well, I have zero problem with disagreeing when I think necessary.

I seriously appreciate the support here.

I second everyones feelings here. It doesn't matter what others think of you're action (that other forum), just how you and her feel. Love the last image, her and that waterfall kick butt. thumb.gif

Thanks again for the support everyone. No matter what others think, I like being able to look in the mirror even though I usually can't figure out who that old guy looking back at me is. Laughing.gif

She called today and asked if we could go over the whole shoot frame by frame because she enjoyed it so much that she doesn't want to lose the whole shoot.
Of course I said yes, so maybe, just maybe, I'll get to show some this set yet. I hope so but it's really all up to her.

I was born at night but not LAST night.

Best of luck with the speedo shoot. I'll console myself for missing it with Cyndi, Ellen Ru, Brook and Barbara Brooks. You just have better luck than me.rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gif

    Consolation Prize Post

So we went through all 80 processed frames and she approved 12 with a name change to China Doll.

Here are a couple which, frankly, aren't close to her best but she's comfortable showing under the new "google search proof" name. Feel free to C&C as usual.
