You got yourself another killer abstract, Michael. You do as good a job with these kind of shots as anyone I know.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Michael,

You have a winner here thumb.gif

    Your crop/comp is good.
    The colors are good.
The subject matter is great for an abstract.

When I have to go back to an image more than once so my eyes can play across it, IMHO, that's a good image thumb.gif

I am grateful for such feedback Tom. I am also grateful as to where I get my motivation to find and develope strong possibilities. Was on the lookout for such a find... abstracts from mother nature.
Sure I look for them all the time but was on a mission to find just this particular one from just such a source.

Thank you Randy. Good is good. :D We would want you to cycle around in the abstract many times :D Was looking for the exact specs you just covered when I came across this find.
No crop for it yet. It could be broken up perhaps. As much as this 2nd pic taken at the same time. It shows an example of the very fine reflections I got despite using a polarizer as mentioned. Will take
some time to get them out again mwink.gif But I am sure it will be worth it once done and a good
    companion to the first work.

Actually, for the OP shot w/o specular highlights, I think it would be hard put to judge that it wasn't a Rust closeup/abstract, if you hadn't already told us what it, in point of fact, was! :D

Thank you very much Rags :D When I started with it I wasn't sure I was going to get just those things you mentioned up well enough to be a good finish. So I thought lets see a prototype if nothing else for now. Things improved along the way. Am looking forward to putting some work in on the 2nd capture.
    Thanks again Rags.

    :D Hey Mary K :D
I too would really like to see this one and the other 2nd potential make it to print. We have nothing like these types of mine hanging anywhere. Would like to change that.
Very much appreciate your feedback MK. Thank you!

Pretty cool to know Don. Appreciate your follow up cause among other things it clearly confirms what one says in title definitely leaves a suggestive impression/expectation. Note to self... Be exceedingly careful with titles. Would mention Don, that when I had the naughty little moment to pass it off as rust you were just about center in my thinking. mwink.gif True story.
You must have been sending out energy rolleyes1.giffor me to be that bad.
