Very very tempting. I wish they made a 23mm (35mm equivalent) f/2.0 pancake.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

As a matter of fact, they have a 23mm (35mm equiv.) f/1.4 on their roadmap for next year.
The XF18mmF2 R is pretty close at 27mm (crop 1.5x, format 135 equivalence), and they call it a pancake lens.

Yeah, I'd be torn between the 18, the 23, and the 27. The 18 is probably the closest to what I want, but it is on the wide side. The 23 will surely be awesome, but it looks a little big. The 27 is a nice size, but a little slow and a little long.
If they come out with a new version of the X100 with the X-Trans sensor, maybe I'd just buy that and sell my 35L. But an X-E1 would be nice because I could put my old screw-mount Leica lenses on it.
