    Nice shot .. I love when their wings are open. They look like such a clunky bird, but fly so gracefully.

    They look more like herons to me, but what do I know. It's a little hard to see the plumage in the golden light. You'd probably get an ID in an instant in the wildlife forum.

    Nice timing and framing on this shot.
