Of the two, I like #1 as cleaner. I also like the title, it's clever.

Having said that, I'm having a hard time linking the title to the image. It's more "sparkler-scapes" to me.

I personally never heard of "Firescape" but I didn't know what "scape" meant either - I looked on wikipedia and now I know :)

I also like most the first one, but I would completely crop the ground out.

I took it as a play on "Fire (e)scape".

I thought about this too :)

I was actually wondering of this interpretation: "e-scape"

I like the first one better, but I also took it as a play on fire escape when I just saw the picture.

I was playing on the "fire escape" thing too.... but also I looked up scape and found this: "scene; a view. Often used in combination" So under that definition it works too. It's a fire scene. :) I'm going to go back and shoot some more tonight... packing up my gear now.

I really like #1 too - it has a visual "wow", depicts action, and the trailing line of light on the left leads you in and although cropping the ground out gives a totally different picture that works, I actually like the eerie planetary effect of that foreground as is. I wonder if it could be interpreted as a "nightscape" (which I think is more typically an image with stars?) but this could be a different take on that. GP

Love #3...colors, textures, long exposure from tip to landing of the spark.

Thanks Chris, that became my favorite too. So I did just a touch more editing and entered that one.

Ah heck... I just can't keep my hands off this... so I messed with the colors some and now I can't decide if I should keep the original entry...
