Insurance on gear

Not sure this is the correct forum category. I am trying to insure my camera gear and nobody so far will touch me. I have been with State Farm for 30 yrs with auto/home. I asked about riders for my homeowners, separate business insurance, personal articles policy, nothing. Because I don't physically have a "studio" I am considered a freelance photographer and they won't insure my gear. I have called Allstate, Nationwide, Travelers...
I was told because I shoot high school football games once in a while there is a risk the gear will get damaged. No kidding Sherlock why do you think I want insurance ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the time this topic gets placed in MYOB, but I'll move it in a couple of days (because it also appears in this forum.) That should get you a lot of opinions.
