How can I make it so that I NEVER have the option to log in as Assistant?

I use Safari and had it remember my username/password. But ever since SM introduced the Assistant, it logs me in as that. I didn't want that feature, why make me choose? Why not let me turn that on if I want it? :dunno

Someone PLEASE help me turn it off so that I NEVER see that name at login.

Thanks!

Sounds like Safari may have remembered the Assistant password. Clear out the saved password in Safari and the next time you log into your account be sure you're entering in your Admin password and save it to Safari if needed.

Well, the thing is, I don't ever recall logging in as an assistant. It's just me here..nobody else. So apparently it was enabled by Smugmug.

I've seen glitches like this in the system before. Rare, but it does happen. Just double-check all the settings are what you want them to be. If it happens again, then it could be an rare and intermittent bug (very tough to diagnose).

It's possible that you somehow accidentally set your assistant password to the same as your owner login password. Log out of your account and request a new password via the 'forgot password' option on the login screen.
It may take 15min for the email to arrive. Also check your spam folder.

After logging in with the temporary password, you can go to the account settings > privacy section and enter some other secure password for the assistant password. Afterwards, change your owner password back to your desired password (account settings > me > account section).
