So I've had this thing all of two days And not used photoshop before. Like the title says... let the beating commence.

    Also, imo, try to keep PP to a minimum. I think over processed images often look tacky. A bit of a bump up the the levels and a contract boost is fine but multiple layers of B&W and colour just look terrible in my opinion.

    But saying that I use photoshop is a vast overstatement.

    Here is the original converted over to jpeg. I believe it's set to cloudy wb, and the auto button for exposure in camera raw. Also Thanks.... I haven't got a clue and know it. That's alright, but I would like to eventually have one.

    Thanks. The b&w reminds me of old sculptures made from coal my grandmother has, those dark scallops.

    I just walked in the door from going back to the same place. Tried to get some action freeze shots of what i think was a big carp jumping. It didn't cooperate. :D


    I can't believe I never noticed how many power lines are in this town. Good grief.
