It doesn't deter me. Not at all.
I quite like this one. I think it would work better in colour however.
Also, imo, try to keep PP to a minimum. I think over processed images often look tacky. A bit of a bump up the the levels and a contract boost is fine but multiple layers of B&W and colour just look terrible in my opinion.

I just walked in the door from going back to the same place. Tried to get some action freeze shots of what i think was a big carp jumping. It didn't cooperate.
I can't believe I never noticed how many power lines are in this town. Good grief.
