I am first and foremost, a nature photographer. Since getting my DSLR, I have been expanding into everything! Here is an exploration of a lime & gypsum plant near my hometown. Opinions?

First one is very soft, i like the second one, third one is a little soft and uninteresting, fourth is also soft and uninteresting, 5 is OK and 6 i like.

What DSLR and lens do you have? Were you focusing manually or using the AF?
    Kind Regards,
    Jordon.

    Hi Jordon-
D7000 and Tamron 28-70 MF. These were mostly shot at under 1/20 sec, handheld or braced against objects. I had left the tripod at home that morning.

I am puzzled by that lens- sometimes sharp, sometimes soft. It must be me, but tripod-mounted images sometimes are soft. Perhaps diffraction at f16 and smaller?
