Bay Photo to color match or not and profiles

I use Lightroom and upload photos to SM with the plugin. These photos get the profile of sRGB. I just ordered the evaluation prints from Bay Photo to see what my photos look like if I don't request them to color correct.

What are your experiences and process flow?

Hi mrhoni,

I use Lightroom to upload to Smugmug and as long as I'm working on a properly calibrated monitor and properly manage shadows and highlights in the image, I can send images to print at Bay Photo or any other lab without the use of the lab's color correction and yield great prints. The key is seeing correct color, brightness and contrast while editing, so the images produce good prints.
