it used to be called Finnish Road Racing Championship, but this year with new organization and new name. During 2012 is five FINRace weekend in different race tracks in Finland. Last weekend (4 / 5) was on Ahvenisto race circuit in Southern Finland. Also my first time ever to see the show...

Also on Saturday Finnish Ferrari Club visiten on track. Before this weekend if someone would ask me if there is over 40 Ferrari in Finland, I would said "no way"... :patch

And in Camaro Cup there was unfortunately only 3 camaros...:scratch Well, there was in both days quite good race between these two, but I would not mind to see more of these in track...

You've got some nice slow shutter pans with the profile shots, but don't be afraid to drop the shutter speed even for the shots approaching you. In particular the one with the Porsche and the Viper, the 3/4 front shot, can still be shot with a slow enough shutter to get some blur in the spokes, and in particular, to blur away some asphalt detail. In short that shot has too much detail EVERYWHERE in the frame. The asphalt, the grass, the background.

Thank you guys. Yes, Bill, you are correct about Porsche & Viper photo.
Last weekend was last of FINRace for this season. I was there only half of Saturday and a bit more than half of Sunday. On Sunday it kept raining and was not too warm either...

It would be easy to blame the wether for not-so-good-pictures, but I just need more practice. Maybe next year mwink.gif

I try to drop the shutter speed, but then it seems that I have no photos to publish :D

About that Porsche 991 GT3, it won this year GT open cup already on Saturday. On Sunday warm-up..

The driver ended up in hospital, but as far as I know not serious injuries.

Season 2013 will start on May from this same track that it end this year, so maybe more about FINRace series then
