Coupons for downloads only

Hi

Is it possible to create coupons for downloads only? I wanted to create a short-term promotion for the opening of the new website that customers (from back as far as 2009) can buy the digital downloads of their images. I don't want to stop them from buying prints...but i wanted to offer a very big discount on the downloads just to stimulate more interest.

One solution is to make a new priceiist which only contains downloads, and then apply the discount coupon to that....but that prohibits that they can buy prints.

Any ideas please?

The workaround you list is currently the only option. It's not possible to limit a coupon to specific products. I'm sorry.
