Right now im shooting with a 20D... I would really like the 1ds mark 2, but is the 5D better? Is there rumor of a 1ds mark 2 with the new sensor? I'm wondering is it worth buying a 5D or just stick with the 20D and see what comes out next. I have read the 5D is not what canon calls a pro cam like the 20D or the 1d's... So should that mean that there will soon be a newer full sensior camera? Andy what do you think? Do you like the 5D better then all the other canon's?

FWIW I think Andy sold his 1Ds mkII after he got his 5D. I'm fairly certain that the 5D is considered a pro camera where the 20D is not technically. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also the new version of the 1D is the 1D mkII N. It's got a smaller sensor (1.3x crop factor I think) and some other improvements.

    http://www.canon.com/ will have more.

I'd say the 5d would be fine for most people wanting a full frame sensor
    and higher resolution.

A couple of the differences include a weather resistant seal and 8fps
(action sports). If you can live without those, the 5d is for you. Oh,
    and it's lighter than a 1ds too. It's also Popular Photography's "Camera
    of the Year".

Perhaps the largest difference is the price. $3300 vs. $7400 (USD).
