This is the last photo I was able to get of Bruce. It was taken last winter. He moved to a farm shortly after I took this .. free to run and chase all the critters he feels like chasing. He and our Golden Ty were good friends. Always meeting up at the opening we had for the two dogs to greet each other. When ever one was out they'd go to the opening to bark for the other to come out :D

Well, Mary, I'm really impressed. It's tough enough to deal with a totally black dog....but to do it in a stark white environment, and to do it this well, is really something. This is one of your very best. Kudos to you, my friend.clap.gif

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Very nice setting for a black dog shot...classic.
The weeds really help the composition....the watermark not so much (I tried to look around it - couldn't)
    Great shot!

    Great shot!

I'm glad you liked it. Sorry about the watermark interfering. I'll have to not put it there again.

Somehow I missed this before. Terrific photo! The black dog in the otherwise white scene is wonderful. And since I've always had Labs, it doesn't hurt that it's a Lab.

Labs are wonderful dogs. Haven't had one yet as a pet tho. They're breeding a lot of Lab/Golden mixes now. Beautiful animals and wonderful companions. Happy to hear you liked it :D
