Had one day in Rocky Mountain National Park after this challenge was announced. Finally got a chance to process some of these today. The b/w is my first true panorama - stitched from 5 images. Wish I had more time there, but was grateful for the time I had.

Any thoughts on these for the "scapes" challenge?

Thanks, Gretchen

You have done some really nice work here. #4 is what grabbed me though.

I think I'd like to see #4 in color.

The other are very nice, but to me they look a little too overworked...

I am working on a color version of the panorama but may not finish it in time to enter it for this challenge. I did tweak 2 of the other shots.

Here is a less funky version of 2 "Mirrored." (The exposure was off for the first one - too dark - but I tried to "fix it" because I liked the composition a bit better.)

And a cleaner version of 3 "Alpine Lake." (I tried to tone map the original but there was already some color fringing.)

I also experimented with stitching together just 3 images for the panorama. One gets a little more detail, but it is less panoramic, of course.

    Any thoughts on these?

It's kind of late... I would go with 5. Aspen Glow from all of these.

Thanks for your input, Tatiana. My photoshop elements is crashing repeatedly when I try to stitch the panorama, so I think I will enter Aspen Glow or Mountain Mirror (the one my sons favor). Thanks for your input on these!
